Like all good true travel people Andrew started his career in luxury travel 'stamping brochures' at a small luxury travel agent in leafy Cheshire. Subsequently promoted to 'also making tea', it wasn't long before Andrew's passion for selling luxury holidays took a grip. Alongside Ian Pollitt, Andrew set up and ran the tour operator Carrier, specialising in luxury South Africa and Indian Ocean holidays. Carrier quickly established itself as a market leader and Andrew's skills were in demand. Head-hunted by ITC (formerly Caribbean Connection) Andrew created dynamic new programmes for the Chester-based luxury operator which included not just Africa, but luxury programmes to the Indian Ocean, the Far East and subsequently Australia & New Zealand and Europe too. Andrew headed up the Product and Sales team during his tenure at ITC.
Again head-hunted, this time down to South Africa in 2006 for Rani Resorts as Sales & Marketing Director before returning to the UK to run his own Sales & Marketing company representing various luxury hotels, safari lodges and resorts across the globe.
Andrew was then tempted to take on the role of Managing Director of floundering specialist Exsus, where he re-shaped the business, re-branded and left it in a much better shape. He then went on to weave his magic with Western & Oriental as Group Head of Product & Sales and re-aligned 12 different business' into just three very strong brands.
